HalsuaA village with a preaching house under the jurisdiction of the Kokkola mother parish from 1826, which in 1838 got a pastor of its own, when the assistant to the clergy of the mother parish was stationed there. Became a chapel parish in 1856, but in 1860 was merged with the new Veteli mother parish as its chapel parish. Made a parish of its own by a Senate decree in 1906.
